Amy Sweasy is a Managing Assistant Hennepin County Attorney, overseeing the division which conducts all felony drug and property crime prosecutions. A prosecutor and trial lawyer for 25 years, Sweasy has expertise in homicide, child abuse, sexual assault, and elder abuse prosecutions. She also has significant recent experience in police use-of-deadly-force investigations and prosecutions. Sweasy has been teaching trial advocacy at all levels for over ten years.
