D. Gerald (Jerry) Wilhelm ’73 currently serves as the coordinator of the Civil Frauds Unit in the United States Attorney’s office for the District of Minnesota. Before coming to the United States Attorney’s office in 1992, Jerry spent 19 years in private practice. For 13 of those years, he was also the Martin County attorney, serving as the President of the Minnesota County Attorney’s Association during 1990-91.
Since coming to the United States Attorney’s Office in 1992, he has spent six years in the criminal division and the balance of his tenure in the civil division, where he currently focuses on affirmative litigation.
Jerry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 1970, his law degree from the same school in 1973, and his MBA from the University of St. Thomas in 1990.
