Michael Reif provides insight, analysis, and advocacy for clients facing complex business, privacy, and financial industry disputes. He litigates in a variety of fields, including banking and securities fraud, privacy and cybersecurity, consumer retailing and franchising, Native American issues, and TCPA class action defense.

Reif counsels clients on TCPA, Can-Spam, GDPR, and CASL compliance and advises on cybersecurity, incident response, mobile marketing, and data security best practices. His experience also includes a two-year Federal court judicial clerkship with Judge David S. Doty and multiple individual pro bono client representations, including extensive work with the Binger Center for New Americans. He has taught in the Law in Practice course since 2009.
