Michael W. Unger ’81
Adjunct: Law in Practice
Michael Unger is a certified civil trial specialist with over 30 years of wide-ranging trial and litigation experience. He is currently in solo practice in Minneapolis and now limits his practice to representing plaintiffs in serious personal injury cases.
In addition to his law practice, Unger has a broad spectrum of experience serving the community and the profession, including: past President of the Minnesota State Bar, Hennepin County Bar, Minnesota Alumni Association, Minnesota Justice Foundation, and Hennepin County Bar Foundation. Unger served as a board member for the United Way of Minneapolis and the Greater Twin Cities United Way.
Unger is a Regent Emeritus of the University of Minnesota and has been an adjunct faculty member for the University of Minnesota Law School since 2011. He is also an adjunct faculty member for Mitchell Hamline Law School.
