Scott Uhl ’09

Professor Scott Uhl ‘09 is the Technology Innovation & Reference Librarian. He manages the law school’s scholarly repository, provides advice and assistance on implementing technology solutions in the classroom and in scholarly research, and provides reference services to the law school community.
Professor Uhl received his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota, and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. He earned his M.L.I.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has worked as an attorney in California, and as a lecturer at the University of Colorado Law School. He joined the University of Minnesota Law School library faculty in 2015.
His professional interests include distance education, user experience design, and information access and preservation. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Association of Law Libraries, and the Minnesota Association of Law Libraries.
