Professor Eugene Borgida is a Morse-Alumni Distinguished Teaching Professor of Psychology. He has served as Chair of the Psychology Department, Associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, and as Fesler-Lampert Chair in Urban and Regional Affairs. His research and writing interests include psychology and law. Professor Borgida earned his B.A. degree, with High Honors, in Psychology and Sociology from Weselyan University in 1971. He earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1976.Professor Borgida joined the University as an Assistant Professor in Psychology in 1976, became an Associate Professor in 1981, a Professor of Psychology in 1987 and served as an Adjunct Professor of Law from 1985–1991. He has also been an Adjunct Professor of Political Science since 1991.
