Just back from a congressional trip to Guantanamo Bay, U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison described what he could, and couldn’t, see at the detention camp in the Law School’s MLK Raise the Bar keynote address.

Rep. Keith Ellison will present the MLK Raise the Bar keynote address on Friday, January 25, at 11:00 a.m. in Lockhart Hall (Room 25). Volunteers, the Weekend of Service at nonprofit organizations will be February 2-4.

Minneapolis is the most literate city in America, according to educator John W. Miller’s annual report on the topic. St. Paul has risen steadily over the years and achieved third place in the 2007 report.
