Law of Lobbying – 6864

This class is intended to provide students with an understanding of the legal regulations on federal and state lobbying, as well as provide them with practical experience with the profession of lobbying. Students will learn about what activity does and does not constitute lobbying and where it abuts the line of electioneering. Students will study with practitioners in the field and be required to write a paper analyzing the elements of federal and state lobbying law.
