On November 12th, the U.S. Supreme Court will hold oral arguments in the historic legal battle over President Trump's effort to terminate the DACA program, which provides crucial protections and opportunities to hundreds of thousands of non-citizens. Luis Cortes Romero, himself a DACAmented lawyer, is one of the lead attorneys in the litigation, and he will be at counsel table representing the challengers, who, so far, have successfully blocked the Trump administration from ending DACA. The next day, Mr. Cortes Romero will come to the University of Minnesota Law School to provide his first-hand account of the oral argument, and to discuss the potential outcomes and impacts of the Supreme Court's heavily anticipated ruling.

Legal briefs and additional information about the DACA litigation are available at SCOTUSblog.
