This is a new initiative of the Human Rights Center for students interested in human rights and international law. Each month one faculty member will join interested students for an informal breakfast in the Human Rights Center to discuss career experiences and talk about their research and policy work. The aim is to further connect our exceptional human rights and international law faculty with law students interested in these fields.

Professor Frey is a well known international human rights teacher, advocate, and scholar. She is Director of the University’s Human Rights Program and teaches international human rights law and human rights advocacy. Professor Frey served as an alternate member of the UN Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and also as UN Special Rapporteur on the Prevention of Human Rights Violations Committed with Small Arms and Light Weapons. Her most recent projects have focused on human rights in Colombia and Mexico.
