In Minnesota, there are approximately 3,842 evidence kits collected in sexual assault cases that remain untested for potential DNA matches.  These kits span 170 police departments and date back as far as 1980.  We will sit down with bioethcist and University of Minnesota Professor Steven Miles to discuss the ethics behind decisions not to test the kits, potential roadblocks to testing and strategies for justice moving forward.
