Jordan Francis '22 Receives IAPP's Westin Scholar Award

Jordan Francis '22 has received the International Association of Privacy Professionals' (IAPP)  Westin Scholar Award. The award is given to select students identified by their professors as future leaders in the field of privacy or data protection.

Francis earned Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) status through the IAPP. He served as managing editor of Volume 106 of Minnesota Law Review and as president and founder of the Privacy, Cybersecurity, & Technology Law Association. At the Law School, he graduated with an Intellectual Property & Technology Law Concentration.

The Westin Award carries with it a cash prize of $1,000, two years of membership with the IAPP, as well as other benefits.
