Alumni Q&A: Lariss Maldonado '12, Board Chair of ACLU Minnesota

Lariss Maldonado '12, who last April became the board chair of the ACLU of Minnesota, recently shared her thoughts on her new leadership role, career path, and time at #MinnesotaLaw.

"I am constantly trying to improve my leadership skills, and I have been fortunate to find opportunities to lead and make an impact in community and bar organizations," she says. "[T]hese skills have all made me a better lawyer and contributor in my full-time jobs. It is important to work collaboratively, both in leadership positions and on teams. Everyone brings value to the team, and the best leaders bring out the best in everyone they work with."
