Prof. Alan Rozenshtein Quoted in New York Times about Donald Trump Seeking Dismissal of Federal Election Case

Professor Alan Rozenshtein, a former U.S. Justice Department official, was interviewed by the New York Times regarding Donald Trump’s request to have charges thrown out that he conspired to overturn the 2020 election by claiming immunity. Rozenshtein said the question facing the judge is whether to accept the attempt to reframe the accusations as presidential acts. “He will lose,” Rozenshtein said. “But he is making the correct conceptual argument.”
