Erica MacDonald is a partner at the law firm of Faegre Drinker. She served as the United States Attorney for the District of Minnesota from 2018-2021. Prior to that, she served as a Judge of District Court for the First Judicial District from 2010-2018; as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1999 to 2009; and a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable James Alesia of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois from 1997-1999. She received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
