Tadele is a prominent Ethiopian human rights lawyer with over a decade of experience advising and representing political opposition members, journalists, other prisoners of conscience, and those targeted for their ethnic identity. He has also worked as a clinical instructor and researcher at universities in Mekelle and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Tadele joined the Center in May 2023 and is spearheading projects related detention and prosecution of those identified as political opponents in Ethiopia, as well as new technology in the conflict context. He will work with student research assistants and join classes as a guest lecturer.
