Moot Court Competition Team: ABA Moot Court Competition Team – 7048

This is one of, if not the largest, moot court competitions in the country. The teams are coached by local attorneys that have experience with appellate arguments, the ABA competition, or both. Students work together in two teams to draft a complete appellate brief and then engage in a series of oral argument practices leading up to the competition. Additional local attorneys that specialize in appellate law serve as guest judges during oral argument practices.

At the tournament, students argue at a regional round and each team is guaranteed at least three oral arguments. Advancing teams move on to the national finals in Chicago in April.
